Overview ~ Tour Details ~
Power is born by letting go. Shift your center of gravity, connect your body, and release.
This approach — relying not on muscle strength, but on the body's natural weight — will transform your golf swing.
The Samurai Golf Method is a program developed by Masato Watanabe, a tournament professional of the Japan Professional Golf Association, inspired by the body mechanics found in traditional Japanese martial arts: releasing tension and dropping weight rather than forcing power.
Watanabe himself provides direct instruction at Asagiri Country Club, nestled at the foot of Mount Fuji.
On your arrival day, a kinesthetic training seminar helps you rediscover how to use your body — then, from the following day onward, you take that newfound feeling out onto the course during your rounds.
Choose from two course options — 1 night / 2 days (1 round) or 2 nights / 3 days (2 rounds) — each available with or without a private hire car transfer from Haneda or Narita Airport, giving you a total of four plans.
Accommodation, meals, green fees, lessons, and interpretation are all included.
Highlights 〜Plan Features〜
・Don't swing — let it drop. Your body already knows how.
Use gravity, skeletal alignment, and timing rather than muscle strength. Learn a way of moving that stays with you no matter your age.
・A method built on physics, biology, and psychology
Understand the club's center of gravity and flex, support it through your skeletal structure, and shift your focus from "Am I doing it right?" to "Can I feel it?"
・Nature meditation and sensory work in a meadow overlooking Mt. Fuji
Before you ever grip a club, calm your mind and feel the flow of energy through your entire body.
・Play a round with a pro and put it all to the test
On the course at Asagiri Country Club, you'll confirm what your body has learned. The 2-night, 3-day plan includes personalized coaching after your round — covering bunker shots, approach play, and putting.
・Small groups of up to 3, with interpreter included
Lesson fees are charged per group, so joining with friends or as a couple of three makes it the best value.

・Those interested in Japan's martial arts-inspired body culture and how it connects to golf
・Groups of 2–3 who want to spend unhurried, private time at the foot of Mt. Fuji
・Those who want to feel it in their body, not just understand it in their head
